What We Believe

Our Core Beliefs

You're Invited Church adheres to historic evangelical, non-denominational Christian beliefs and doctrine. We are committed to the authority of Scripture, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the faithful teaching of God's Word.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. We seek to understand Scripture according to its plain, grammatical and historical meaning.

God

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in nature, glory, and deity.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will personally return.

Salvation

We believe all people are sinners in need of a Savior. Salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by our works. Through Christ we receive forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternal life with God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, brings new life to those who trust in Christ, indwells every believer, and empowers us to grow in holiness and faithfully follow Jesus.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are called to worship together, learn God's Word, encourage one another, serve, pray, and make disciples.

Every Person Bears God's Image

We believe every human life is created in the image of God and possesses immeasurable dignity and value. Every believer has a place in the family of God and opportunities to grow, serve, worship, and participate in the life of the Church.

God's Promises & Christ's Return

We hold to a dispensational understanding of Scripture, recognizing God's distinct purposes for Israel and the Church and believing that God remains faithful to the covenant promises He has made.

We believe in the rapture of the Church, followed by the future seven-year Tribulation, and the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His promised kingdom. Our hope is ultimately not in a prophetic timetable, but in Jesus Christ Himself and His certain return.

Our Foundation

Jesus at the center of everything

We desire to teach the whole counsel of God faithfully, clearly, and accessibly—never watering down biblical truth while always keeping Jesus Christ, His Gospel, and the making of disciples at the center of everything we do.
